hi, today i was searching in the bios for overcloking my CPU, i found something called speedstep and i enabled it, so it somehow went from 2.8ghz to 3.8ghz, when i saved, the pc didnt turn on, i restarted the pc, fans worked, no display, no beep when u turn on the pc, and drivers worked.
so i did reset the bios by removing the cmos battery, then when i turned the pc on i recieved a message: "266mhz system bus processor is installed. This processor is not supported on this system board, and will run at reduced processor clock speed. System performance will be impacted.
Do you wish to continue to boot at 38528mhz system bys and reduced processor speed? (Y/N)
Press [Y] to continue or press [N] to shutdown."

so i tried to press Y or N, none of them worked, cuz the whole keyboard was not working, i tried the mouse in the same port, the mouse worked but i couldnt do anything with it.
so now im stuck on this screen. Please, is there a way i can pass this screen?
*please dont ignore this, its really important...
Thank you

ok so.... i will tell u what i see on the screen, other than the message that i told u (((( the 1st alphabet is missing from every line so.
*i will type a star (*) instead of the missing alphabet so maybe you would recognize it

1st line: *MIBIOS (C) 2006 American Megatrends, Inc.
2nd line: 945GCT-M2 Release 09/17/07
3rd line: CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 cpu E7400 @ 2.8GHz
((after the message there r 2 lines))
4th line: (C) American Megatrends, Inc.
5th line: *3-0100-001131-00101111-091707-Lakeport-945GCT-M2-Y2KC

those are all ( im using my laptop to communicate with you
i hope this helps, if u want i can open the case and give u some more info
thnx for ur fast reply

hi, thanks for your help, i found a solution, which is getting a PS/2 Port Keyboard and plug it in the pc, then you would be able to press the Y/N keys. you might need to repair the pc using the "repair pc ( recommended )" or something like that
thnx for ur help
