Hello everyone, now i need all the help i can get. So here I go: I have a i7 4770 processor and earlier it showed in the task manager that it has 4 Cores and 8 Logical processors. Now I went to the bios and did some clicks, they were basically around Intel Virtualization Enable/Disable (i don't know what it should be) and also i installed a new 120mm fan on the side window of my Cooler Master K380 and downloaded a software called Speed Fan and when i opened it the software crashed and an notification came and said that windows has entered into an error and need to restart.
So NOW when i started the task manager it shows 2 cores and 4 logical processors. i checked in other softwares like CPUID HW Monitor (the software now shows temperature of two core only Core 0 and Core 1,earlier it showed temps for 4 cores!?) and CPU Z they all showed 2 cores and 4 threads.
I dont know whether the above information is linked or not. But why does it now shows 2 Cores!! and 4 threads only!!
