Something wrong with my computer

My computer was on rest when I suddenly started hearing a noise. When I went to look the button on the computer was getting bright and going dim and making a pulsing grinding sound and I couldn't turn it on or off so I had to manually shut it off, after I turned it back on nothing connected to the computer and I couldn't get a display, the mouse nor the keyboard work on any of the ports. What could be wrong? Also when I turned it off there was a beeping blue light on the motherboard in the center that lasted about 5 seconds.
