Sond problem in lwindows 7

I have installed sound max driver in my lenovo t42 as windows 7 installed but i cant hear a sound please healp how can i fix this problem

The T42 was never tested for successful operation with Windows 7. However, for your problem, Windows Update will resolve the audio driver issue.

If you have other issues, such as finding an appropriate WLAN driver, the Vista WLAN T42 driver will work with Windows 7.
