Last time, replaced the motherboard, and the CPU. Even the DIMMS (only because they weren't on the approved list for the mobo despite all working fine for months).
Pretty much all we didnt replace was the PSU. So not really sure what was wrong. All on warranty so no big deal.

Its happened again. CPU light on mobo.
Done all the obvious, reset bios, one dimm, removed GPU, etc etc. still the same.

My theory is that hes somehow knocking the pc and somehow knackering the cpu, bending pins maybe. He has past this - losing his temper when online gaming and kicking things/throwing things. Several keyboard/mouse gone that way. (Before you criticise hes autistic BTW).

Swears blind this time he definitely has not done anything, not even accidentally. Im not so sure.

I've ordered a spare CPU so I'll take a look tomorrow, reseat the old one etc and see what happens. If not, try the new one.

If its not been physically damaged by force, all I can think is PSU has "somehow" blown another CPU and/or mobo. Not even sure if thats possible? Not likely methinks....

Occams razor though I think its my first guess....
