Sony Audio Control Centre Connecting to Laptop

I have one of these. It has several speakers connected to it, which I want to be able to connect to my laptop. To do this I need the Sony Audio Control Center to be able to plug into my laptop. It has an optical input, so I need some kind of optical out converter that can be plugged into my laptop to receive the optical input.

Your Sony receiver has analog audio inputs that you can connect to your laptop with a cable that has a stereo miniplug (headphone or line out) at one end and 2 RCA plugs at the other (any audio input that you are not using) No need to convert to optical (won't improve sound or add functionality).
If you are out of inputs then just get a switch that will expand them.
