Sony bravia tv doesnt connect portable wifi hotspot

I used to connect my phone to Sony bravia tv using portable hotspot but after the update it cannot do so because tv needs static address and you can't even input or change it.

I had connection problems with WiFi on my Sony Smart TV so I switched to using the TV's ethernet port instead, together with a couple of powerline ethernet adapters and two ethernet cables (one adapter connected to router upstairs, other one connected to TV downstairs).


Works a treat, faster than WiFi and much more stable.
