Sony C1VE notebooks

I'm thinking about getting one, does anyone have any experience with them?
i'm interested in how they perform and general impressions about how good it is.

Well I have a CV1E and I *love* it. The only thing is, be sure to budget to buy either the *SONY* external cd-rom or dvd-drive. Basically it's easy to boot from the Sony ones, a pain to boot from non-sony ones. Oh and make sure you get the version that do not *require* an external psu, ie they can be powered through the pcmcia card.

That said, the addition of an 802.11 wireless network card (and by the end of this evening, software on my desktop pc to allow remote internet access) and I'm in toy heaven ;-)
