Sony CFD-SO5 casstte/cd/radio-Help?

not even sure where to post this.....
I have the above macnine. here is a link

ahyway, had it for a few years now. no problem. yesterday, went to turn it up volume a bit and volume buttons "+" "-" style, not functioning. stuck on current level. also discoverd the radio tuning not functioning either.
can any one help with what the problem? snd solution might be?
these are the press-type buttons (digital?), not the rotary turning kind...any help/ suggestions appreciated. thanks

You don't have too many ways t fix this. You have to open it, and see what makes it tick.
It could be mechanical issue - the plastic buttons no longer reach their electrical brothers on the PCB keeping them. If it is electrical issue, you're out of luck, unless you find someone willing to diagnose and repair for you for a beer. I doubt you'll find any spare parts (unless you can get a mechanically broken unit to use as a donor).
