i have had this moniter for about 8 months and its great... except for one thing. Occasionally the upper portion of the screen will start flickering left and right kind of... hard to describe but very noticable... i run it at 1600 by 1200 at 85hz... and i tried lowering refresh rate or resolution to fix problem but it still happens

i ahve a clean power supply and a raedon 8500 64mb....

could it be my stereo i have 2 8 inch subs kinda near it and ussually liek loud music

It's unlikely that the voice coil current of a shielded speaker is going to interfere with a monitor as you describe.

It sounds more like a problem with the horizontal sync or deflection yoke.

In any case, at 8 months, the monitor is still under warranty, you should be able to get it fixed for free...
