My Sony handy-cam model is DCR-TRV265E PAL. How could I transfer videos to my laptop?

Link to manual: http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/3087919141.pdf Oddly enough there are no instructions for connecting to a computer but you should be able to connect it to a computer via a Firewire port (Sony name is iLink). Once connected via firewire you can capture the tape(s) using Windows Live Moviemaker or the editing software of your choice. You will need to set the camera to VTR mode.
