Sony MDR-V150: Stereo does not work

I recently purchased a pair of Sony MDR-v150's, and right out of the box the stereo is not working. I have a few other pairs of stereo headphones that work fine, and I tested on my MP3 player, laptop and desktop. I'm thinking about just returning the headphones, but I figured I would ask if there any known fixes.

My apologies, I am complete idiot. I didn't press in the headphones far enough.
