Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo file problem

Yesterday I bought a Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo for my PSP. I brought it home and put 4 GB of videos in it. But when I put the memory in my PSP, the files were vanished! I re-inserted it to my PC and saw that although it was showing 3.98 GB used out of 15.4 GB, there weren't any file inside the memory. I tried all un-hiding tricks(through file explorer,CMD etc.) but literally there weren't any file inside the memory but the space was being used. I formatted it properly but the problem wasn't solved.

where did you buy it from? did yo buy it advertised as a 4G or 16G stick?

I bought it from a store in a shopping mall. It's 16 GB

but the png show 1.49 used

I formatted it and put some new files.

Well, now my PSP doesn't even detect the memory. So, I'll have to take it back to the dealer and ask for a replacement. Thanks for your replies.

are you sure they use the same format? try format the disk in psp and then put your video in.
