I have around 150 GB of important data to be backed up for 8 years. So I need some DVDs that will not fail me in the long run.
I've shortlisted into three options:
1: Verbatim DVD+R (Indian make)
2: Verbatim DVD-R (Japan make)
3: Sony DVD-R (Indian make)
Which do you think, as per your knowledge and experience, would hold up to the task reliably?
Please shed some light here. Thank you.
PS: Taiyo Yuden isn't available here and Archival Grade DVDs are far too costly. Also I do not rely on external hard drives for long term storage, based upon experience.
