Real gamers don't give a sh*t to Kinect or Move. Anyone who cares enough for this overhyped crap will buy it separately.
Personally, I'm a PC keyboard and mouse guy.
I never understood why the hell keyboard and mouse for consoles never caught anyone's attention in both consumers and manufacturers sides.
You say that real gamers don't care about motion sensing which is true, in a sense, and for now. The Kinect has future use capabilities that could blow the minds of current gamers. If you combine the Kinect with the Oculus Rift, the Omni and a Razr Hydra or similar controller, gaming could finally be taken to the next level. Right now the Oculus says they only support PC, but with the integration of platforms that MS is working towards, and a cash infusion, it's only a matter of time until MS buys itself into getting Oculus support on the XB1 and then it starts to get real.
A few years from now we could see fully immersive virtual reality, and with the Kinect and their better support of HD modeling and motion sensing, we could bring ourselves into the game. We could interact with others as ourselves, not as a CG model. You could live the game, dodging, shooting, ducking, firing spells with arm motions and voice, seeing that all happen around you in an immersive system, the possibilites are endless.
As for the KB/Mouse not being on consoles, its because most people play on their couch and there is no easy way to comfortably use them. For those that would choose to put themselves in an environment where they can use one, they would have a massive advantage over controller users in multiplayer which equates to a bad experience for customers on the gamepad end, which leads to marketing chaos.
