I'de like to know something about the Sony SDM-hx73! has anyone tested this lcd display? i've read specification and with it's 400nits 500:1contrast and 16ms response time it could be an optimum display! anyway before spending 650€ i'd like to know something else! has anyone bougth this monitor? i've read the Cnet test and they told it's quality in color reproduction it's mediocre! true or false?? looking to it's extraordinary features it's very difficult to think at this monitor as a mediocre one!!

If there's one thing I've learned about LCDs (just received my first one) it's that response times aren't really indicative of how good a screen will perform with videos or gaming. Some 20ms or 25ms screens perform better (or should I say exhibit less ghosting) than some 16ms ones.
I think it's dependant on the technology of the screen. This stuff, however, goes well beyond my (limited) LCD knowledge.
