Hi I have a sony blu ray player that's LAN ready, says it needs a sony UWABR100 usb wireless LAN adapter to access the internet. This seems to be discontinued and what I can find is $200+ and way over priced. Big w use to stock them for under $100. Tried the larger electrical stores.
I've tried to use a asus wireless adapter for the PC but it won't recognise. I've read it will only work with the UWABR100. Also tried a dlink wireless n 150 mobile broadband router dir412 (as I have one sitting here unused) as someone mentioned to try and use a bridge, has Ethernet port in the bluray player.
I'm unsure if the dlink router I have can be used as a bridge, I'm not very PC smart but tried to log into the dlink router but it won't display the page. I can log into my belkin n300 wireless n modem-router which is what I'm using for my internet usage.
Any help is appreciated.
