I have been unable to locate either the drivers for the built in 1.3 megapixel camera or a reinstall for the vaio control center for my Sony Vaip VGNFX 220U notebook.
I have searched all over Sony's site and nothing.
Most sites offering 'free downloads' are traps to run scans on one's computer and then force the owner of the computer to pay money to purchase the programs, so not free at all.
Can anyone recommend the sites?
The last issue is that I have the original disks for Windows Vista business. Had to put in a new hard drive only months after purchasing the computer. Now it won't recognize the product key, nor the original that came with the computer either.
All attempts to work with Microsoft on this issue shave resulted in hours spent waiting, being disconnected, and routed to numerous departments without getting the issue resolve.
No money, full time student and looking for work.
Suggestions anyone?
