Hi my laptop is sony vaio e series core i3 3rd gen, 2gb ram, 320gb hdd, 2.4ghz, windows 8. I bought my laptop 1 year ago and i have been experiencing lagginess and its very irritating. It laggs when i open a single browser like facebook. I scroll down and down and then lagginess.. Iam asked for 99updates all the time. I even went for recover 2 times but still its not worth it. I used compaq dual core before my sony vaio and it was way better than this expensive core i3. Please help. GOD BLESS

check if there another program that run in background. or maybe your windows is upgrading? the facebook it self always lag if scroll down and down.

If you have an anti virus program, try running a scan. and also if you can't update your computer(Which usually speeds it up) because you don't have enough space, get a mobile hard drive to expand your space with a USB

A system with those specs should be fast, you have some other issues, probably with viruses or spyware. You said you did a system restore and its still slow, is it slow right after you restore to factory defaults? Or does it take a while and then it's slow?

Did you check your internet connection?
