Sony VAIO display not working

Hi,

Sony VAIO display not working and displays blank screen with vetical lines with blue background.
if i connect to TV with HDMI then it is working fine.
is it problem with Laptop display?

Please advice how to fix this.

Sounds like your display's connection is screwed up, any PC store should be able to fix this for about $100-$200, depending on the size of your screen.
