Sony vaio motherboard compatibility

Hello everyone!
I have an old sony vaio vgn-fz31m laptop with gpu 8400 problem. So i decided to change the motgerboard in order to make it work. The problem is: they're not that easy to find! But the one i found, I'm not sure would it be compatible with the rest of my hardware. This is the board i found:

Board model: MBX-165 MS90 REV:1.2 MAIN BOARD
Chipset: INTEL 960 SLA5T
South Bridge: NH82801HBM SLA5Q
Socket: mPGA478MN

My laptop specs:
T7250 cpu
2gb ddr2 ram
Nvidia 8400

So my question is: would it work if i put this board instead of mine?

I'd ask you first if replacing such an old motherboard is the right thing to do. Maybe there are better second hand fully working laptops for cheaper than the motherboard, let alone having to take apart your entire laptop and screwing it back together. Just a possible tip to save you time and money.

I already have laptops which work, so that's not an issue. I'd like to do it for fun. But of course, i want to try and do it with compatible motherboard.

Laptop motherboards are rarely interchangeable.
Sony VAIO less so.
Old Sony VAIO, even more less so.

I think everything is the same. The only thing that bothers me is the chipset of the motherboard. Does it have to be exactly the same?

Since you're using the old CPU, it might make a difference.
