Hey guys so I got a Sony Vaio T ultrabook and want to wipe everything on it and have a clean installation of windows 7 or 8. I have tried booting into the disk driver with my windows 8 CD and when it comes to the window were i choose which hard drive to install it on and if I want to delete and partitions no hard drives show up. 🙁

(I think the hard drive is a hybrid drive, but not 100% sure)

You need to install additional drivers: namely your raid drivers. Your laptop uses a sata drive and an msata SSD as cache - and the sata controller (in the bios) has to be set to raid to do this.

I am a bit confused what drivers do I need? Are they storage controller drivers?

look thru sony's support site for your exact model vaio. go to the downloads section and download the one that says something like "Raid Preinstallation driver". Make sure its for win8. And yes the raid is a storage driver but I dont know what category sony would put the raid driver under.
