i NEED THE sony VAIO VGN-NR385E mass storage controller FOR windows 7 DRIVER

That driver may be part of the motherboard "chipset driver" package from Sony.
Go here: http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/model-home.pl?mdl=VGNNR385E&template_id=1&region_id=1&tab=download#/downloadTab

Select your Windows version in the left-hand drop-down box and wait for page to refresh.

Select "Motherboard" in the adjacent right-hand drop-down box.

Chipset driver should appear lower down as: "Intel Chipset Driver"
