i was wondering if it was possible to upgrade this laptops cpu if so what socket is it and what cpu would be compatible thank you. the model is sony vaio vgnnw270f

Your laptop comes with a Core 2 Duo T6600, which uses Socket P, so it is upgradeable. EDIT: If you wanted to you can also use the P9700 or T9900, but they're more expensive.
