Sony Vegas 13 window problem

Solution
Hide the task bar - right click on it, press Properties and then check - Auto-Hide. Then pull the window to the center of the screen.

Another solution is - when you open the window and it is still active - press the window key + Up arrow key - this should center the window.

This is not Windows fault. A lot of softwares consider the space behind the task bar as "work space" although they should not.
