Hello, well I will start by saying I have Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. However build is 1703 (creators update) and it is broken on my system. I hear it is not as stable nor as good for applications as build 1607. So I'm downgrading using build 1607.iso. So question for application saved projects, in my case a sony vegas project edited and ready to be rendered if I back everything up (reinstalling older version of windows needs to be a clean/fresh install) reinstall my applications and everything else on my OS drive would I be able to open that project after installing sony vegas and everything will be edited still?

It's over 5 hour's of a video track and over countless hours of editing. It's so perfect. :)

I have never tried wiping out my OS and reinstalling it then trying to import/restore Vegas studio files. I would assume you will be okay as the file formats will all be the same, but to be sure, I'd get on the support forum of Vega Studio to get absolute expert advice before doing anything (this is the US link):

Also, I never go with a creator's update to Windows unless absolutely forced to. You are essentially being their beta tester when you do that.

I know but it did it by itself disabling services, everything to do with windows updates so I'll be 1607 for good forever. Thanks for you're advice, I was thinking the same thing since it's .veg file anyway. Like it'll say "oh veg file loading project". I'll ask on the forum there as well.
