Sooo... When are the next CPU price cuts?

Just wondering when Intel and AMD are introducing new price cuts to their cpus. I'm thinking of upgrading within the next 2 weeks and I need some recommendations on a good Intel motherboard with Intel chipset. I heard they're announcing the 845PE which officially supports PC2700 DDR but when will we start seeing those in stores?
