Soooo.. 4690k + gtx 980ti or 4790k and gtx 980 - 1440p asus swift

i already have the i5 4690k with a stock cooler. i need a gpu. do i just buy a gtx 980 ti or do i sell the 4690k and buy a 980 and a 4790k? i also already have the asus swift. thanks

Definitely the 980ti the i7 has very little over the i5 in terms of game performance and the 980ti is much stronger than the 980.

As above, in terms of gaming performance, more will come from the GPU.

You can always grab a better CPU cooler and overclock your 4690k.
