I'm still pushing my GTX 760 and I won't lie, I'm really itching to buy that GTX 1080 tomorrow. So now that we're down to the wire, what's the best thing to do...buy now or wait for a better version of the GTX 1080? I mean, there's always a better version coming out so, again, buy tomorrow or wait a bit?

I'm talking about a month, maybe less depending on how long the AiB's have had the 1080 silicon to test with. Essentially they need some time to proof their custom cooling solutions and PCB's. Since I've been seeing lots of photos of custom cards showing up on various sites, I don't think they are too far off. If they have photos to tease us with, then they have something, whether it's the final revision or not though, who knows.
Personally I'd wait for the custom 1080's. That is unless you plan to water cool your 1080. Reference cards are guaranteed to have waterblocks on day 1, custom cards are hit and miss affair. The advantage to waiting is that the custom cards maybe slightly cheaper.

Ack! You were supposed to tell me to get online bright and early and buy one. lol

Seriously tho, I will not be watercooling. When you say waiting, are you talking a few weeks or are you talking 4 months? 🙁
