The monitor that I’ll be buying is 3440 x 1440 and 200mhz. So can this PC hit 200fps at 3440 x 1440?

PC components:
- GPU: MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11GB GAMING X TRIO (two of them in Sli
- Motherboard: Gigabyte X299 AORUS Gaming
- Processor: I9 7980xe
- Ram: 64gb HyperX® Predator DDR4 2933mhz 8 x 8
- CPU cooler: Custom liquid cooling by EKWB
- Memory: Samsung 2TB 960 PRO Series - PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD
- Memory: Team Group T-Force Delta RGB 5tb 2.5 (5 x 1tb)
- Psu: Coolermaster Masterwatt maker 1200w

And yes this PC is to overkill

In most games, as long as you're using NVLink on those 2 cards I'd imagine that you'd be able to.

I was under the impression that most games don't support SLI.

That said, stick with a single card. Or, if you need more fps, assuming the 2080Ti can't do it at 3440x1440, go for 2560x1080.

He shouldn't stick with a single card. The performance scaling with NVLink is actually pretty good.
