I have a XFX 280x AMD GPU and two monitors - ASUS VG248 and AOC 2460G5
I had a Windows session that was 5+ years old and decided to do a fresh install of Windows 10. Prior to the install, I had displayport to minidisplayport cables for each monitor. Now, post reinstall of Windows, the only way that I can get the ASUS monitor to have the desired resolution is with an HDMI cable. With the same DP to mini DP cable, I only get a 800 x 600 resolution. I could stick with the HDMI cable but it is capped at 60 mhz as opposed to the 144mhz with the dp. Please help!
