Bought these last fall. Two 3TB HDDs, but just putting them to use and noticed they are SAS, not SATA. Am I SOOL?

Seagate
Constellation ES.2
ST33000650SS

Will my GA-Z87X-UD5H motherboard be able to use these SAS drives with a SAS to Sata cable, or do I need a PCI card? Any recommendations?

StarTech.com Model SAS729PW18 18" SAS 29 Pin to SATA Cable with LP4 Power

Or my son's GA-Z77-D3H?

They both support RAID, right? But that does not automatically mean the motherboard controller supports SAS, does it?

Will I need a pci card, and cables? This is a mess.

I own these two 3TB drives now. Trying to make the most of it. Just want to store media on them.

Thanks
