Current Setup
I have a PC with a Sound Blaster Z (Digital In and Default Sound Card, the onboard sound is disabled)
I play on an Xbox One X (Digital Out)
The Xbox One X digital-out is plugged into the Sound Blaster digital-in
(I do this so I can hear the Xbox and still hear sounds from other sources from my pc via my headset)
I use the Voicemeeter (VM) sound mixing software (currently using Potato version)
VM Channel 3 is assigned to the Sound Blaster digital-in
VM VAIO-Aux In is assigned to the PC Default Sound

The problem is I can always hear the Xbox on the default PC system sound (VAIO-Aux). I can mute this sound, but then I lose all PC Desktop sounds. If I leave both channels open, then there is a second delay between the two channels.
Is there a way to truly separate the Sound Blaster Digital-In sound and the Sound Blaster (default) sounds? I know how to assign programs to different outputs via the Windows 10 Sound setup and this has not helped.

You may want to try to uncheck on "Listen to this device" on "Digital Audio (S/PDIF)" under the "Recording" section of the MIXER tab on the Sound Blaster Z Control Panel application.
