Question Sound blaster zx or asus xonar phoebus

Hi guys

recently I want to upgrade my audio, i want to get better source for gaming.
However i dont know which is better between Sound Blaster ZX and Asus Xonar Phoebus.
My motherboard is Gigabyte G41M combo and i'm using arctis 3 gaming headset, so onboard audio doesn't feel good i my opinion

So which one is the best?

I hate Creative's drivers and have had nothing but a good experience with my Asus Xonar STX. I'm not familiar with that particular Asus card but I'd go with them over Creative any day.

My STX is easily equal to an entry level audiophile amp/DAC stack. Like I said I'm not familiar with that particular card. What are you driving with the card?

As I said in your other thread I'd pick the Asus. Bass is up to your headset. Asus uses Dolby Headphone for gaming / virtual surround and it's quite good.
