Audio Phone Connector - Wikipedia
If you have a separate microphone input connector, you will need a separate microphone to plug into it, or you could select for microphone input over USB, if you have equipment that supports that.
Didnt really understand the question sorry for my english, maybe can you explain more in a easier way?OK, so the next question is this:
Is your machine one of the few that has a unified microphone and headphone connector, or do you have separate headphone and microphone connectors?
It has 2 connectors, headphone and mçrophone.Do you have 2 connectors: 1 for headphones, and 1 for microphone?
or
Do you have 1 connector: headphone and microphone through same connector?
Oh 'm about to buy a HyperX Cloud Revolver S, will i still need these? Then you need a separate microphone, or something like this:
Headset with microphone
Thanks for the help! The headset you are looking at uses a USB soundcard midline in the cable, and provides all necessary connectors. You'll be fine with it, as long as you install the required drivers of course.
