Sound card configuration

I want to connect a creative 4.1 speaker(2 output pins to be plugged in) to my pc. I have a creative sb live soundcard connected to my pc and the 2 pins of speaker is connected to the sound card(green and black pins). all the speakers and woofer are working properly. The problem is I get only stereo output and no surround effects. So how to configure the quadraphonic configuration..

Now my configuration is:

I want a quadraphonic setting below mono and stereo

Please help...

just put it to a stereo and just download some programs that has a quadraphonic setting then your all set
