sound card for my PCs

ive got two PCs at my house and i want to buy sound cards for them. At the moment i use onboard audio on both of my rigs.

1st PC
Cheap MSI mobo with Realtek ALC889 / 5.1 Logitech speakers
With that onboard sound i dont get 5.1 and i want to get a card that will do the job right, mostly when listening to music.

2nd PC
asrock extreme4 z97 mobo with Realtek ALC1150 / Microlab solo 7c speakers
On this rig i listen to music, watch movies, play games and i want something that will give my Microlab speakers a proper boost. I love those speakers, clarity is good but they sound a bit too flat with that onboard sound and im sure they've got more potential.

Which cards would you recommend?

for the most part, the on-board sound usually does pretty good for most. If you really want a card, a asus xonar dg is pretty good.
