So I recently went from Windows 7 (x32) to Windows 10 (x64) and when transferring all of a sudden I have no sound. When I go to device manager it says 'Other devices' and 'Multimedia Audio Controller' with a yellow caution sign. I've tried uninstalling the driver, restarting the computer and updating it but it can't update. I have a Razer Barracuda Ac-1 Sound Card, anyway to get the sound working on windows 10?
thank you. [also if I buy a new sound card will it sound better? I make music and just wondering about the advantages too] thanks

Looks like driver support 'officially' stopped at W7:

I would download the driver package for Windows 7 & attempt to run it in compatibility mode (select properties of the .exe and under compatibility, select Windows 7).

A quick Google search shows people having issues in W8/8.1, where even the W7 driver wouldn't work - but the Vista driver in compatibility mode worked fine. So if the W7 option doesn't work, rinse & repeat with the Vista driver.
