Just pulled this sound card. Trying to identify model. I'm pretty sure it's a early sound blaster. I'm wanting to download some drivers for it, but think having model might be good to have. These are the only numbers I could find one it.

Solution
this isnt soundblaster, its what it says it is, audiopci 3000 from ensoniq, tho it was acquired by creative later on, so depends on driver version installed, it may say soundblaster 64/128 in device manager

here are drivers:

which chip it is? es1370?

Unfortunately the device manager does not give it a name. Since the initial manufacturer was acquired by creative technology this piece of hardware kind of fell between the cracks during the transition. I attempted to contact creative technology support but it seems not to be functional at the moment. That was the problem. No name, and no drivers. So driver version was not available.

i see, soundcard was accompanied with installation CD, creative download page offers just update to that CD software

which operating system are you using?
and which chip is it using? ES137x should be printed on it

I'm running the old xp professional. Basically without a long story, I had a business with website and two physical retail stores. Parents needed full time help around home after reaching 87. Sold home and closed business to move. All computers have been boxed and not turned on since 2013. Hence the old OS. I have upgraded most puters from original components due to wear out of failure over time. One was a total build. If you've ever stored a system for years an the turned hem on, it's likely its not going to be a smooth awakening. I did download a driver that a member put up on this thread and will try it today to see if it solves the issue. The biggest problem seems to be missing drivers after pulling these 7 computers out of the boxes and turning them on. 😆 I have my fingers crossed. Most all are running Pentimun 4 chips dual core. All with Nvidia cards but for one running a PNC card.

Hardware from the era of P4s are going to be tough to find drivers for since the internet was new and download/upload speeds were slow. Most drivers were distributed on disk.
