Hi!

I play games and watch movies and listen to lossless format music on files and actually CDs. I usually plug my Jolida tube/hybrid audiophile amplifier into the audio outlet of my Mobo, and then the amplifier powers Polk Audio tower speakers.

Do i need a dedicated sound card, like a sound blaster? i can't afford a 250USD card, but the blaster is like 90 on Jet. Will it make my sound any better?

The new Mobo i'm getting is the Asus Z170S.

Thanks,
J

that motherboard that you bought is pretty nice :)

that being said.. It does come with it's own OnBoard audio chip: Realtek ALC1150

This audiochip will prolly be on par with any 100$ auxillery audio card that you can buy.

OnBoard is more than enough. unless you feel...
