sound card question???

hey guys, sorry if this is posted in the wrong area but i didn't see a spot for sound cards etc... anyways digging around i found an old creative sound blaster live, doesn't seem like it came compatible for win 7 but from what I've looked into i might be able to get it running with KXproject drivers.... anyways question is, is it even worth doing. as it is some pretty old tech. currently I'm using on board realtek

Try it out and see! If its got support for things that the realtek doesn't, it will probably be worth it.

The only thing I can add, is Vista drivers might work, for 7

thanks guys I'll likely give it a shot, and i'll check if vista drivers will work, might be a touch easier than going through the kx project one, I'll let you know how it goes!

have kx succesfully installed showing input front my windows tool panel from "wave 6/7" no levels from kx though,
