[SOLVED] Sound card suggestions pls!

Im sorry if im writing in the wrong section.I wanna buy a sound card for my headphones(Beyer Dynamic DT 990)My budget is 80-110 euros.I prefer a on board sound card,not an external sound card/dac.Im looking for Creative Sound Blaster Z and
Creative Sound BlasterX AE-5.Whats your opinion about those two cards?Do u know any other good sound card at this budget?Thanks!

Internal and external DACs have similar performance and features, it makes no sense to recommend not getting an internal one.

what impedance are those DT990s? they come in three types.
match them with an amp that can put them in the sweet spot

i would pair your headphones to this if they are high impedance model

They are 250 ohm open back.

this one is in your price range, but it's not going to give you the max you can get out of those headphones

this is a better model that has balanced output if you prefer balanced audio

I have the Sound Blaster AE5 with a set of Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro (250 ohm) and the Audio Technica ath mx50x headphones and I can only sing the praises of the AE5 which drives the headphones extremely well. I also have a set of speakers connected and again its just such a pure rich sound from the 32bit on board DAC. The sound quality is so much better than the on board audio on my fairly decent Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7 motherboard. Fantastic Sound card and at a good price at the moment.
