It isn't clear from your original post what you are trying to do. Also, what are your system's basic specification? Are you using a stand-alone sound card or your motherboard's integrated sound card? Please clarify.

Read here: http://www.sevenforums.com/sound-audio/33986-windows-7-multiple-audio-playback-setup.html Win 7 does not support dual audio outputs, but there are programs that allow you to pick which audio device you will use. Looks like Media Player is a no, but Winamp should work.
