This sound is coming from PSU, it's rather loud and it transfers onto my mic as you can hear. I recorded it this way cause it's easier for me, but it's exactly the same and as loud irl. Sound is there even when PC is off.
Here's the sound - https://clyp.it/b5mz2bwy

I even have an external USB sound card, but the sound is till there. ( http://i.imgur.com/KaQsmOu.png )

If the noise is there even with the computer off, then it is definitely not an issue with the power supply. Check out your windows and vents. It could be your air conditioner or furnace for all I can tell. It isn't your computer if it continues when the computer is off.

It is the power supply though, I just removed the PSU from computer, turned it on by itself while not being conected to anything in PC and the noise was still coming from it. I even figured where exactly the noise is coming from on the psu. http://i.imgur.com/LSCnhRb.png

I'll be getting new PSU in like 15 days, let's hope it doesn't die and fry my pc while I'm waiting.

that also could mean a problem with how you installed the mainboard or the sound card itself

be sure to check the pc entirely to discard any possible problem in the installation

the sound card, what brand is it? do you connect it in the front or in the back of the pc?

The sound card is some cheap 1$ one from aliexpress (link). It's connected to usb extension cable which is the connected in the top slot (which is the furthest slot from PSU). The sound card is really far away from psu, it's on top of my desk.

It's a ground issue. When you touch your finger to the case, you are grounding it - which is why the sound stops.
Are you using a powerbar? Does it have all 3 prongs to it?

Try a different plug outlet in your house and see if the problem still happens.

I can plug the usb card anywhere in any slots, it still picks up that noise, even without the usb cable.

I live in EU, so I have a powerbar exactly like this and the issue with mic still exists even if I plug it in other outlet in room.

Okay, I just got 70 euros and can buy a psu, what PSU's you can recommend guys? https://bm.lv/lv/barosanas-bloki I'd prefer if you could use this site since I can get 5-10% off here or this shop . Current psu is corsair CX600M and I don't want to get another corsair since this one is barely 3 years old.

Would be nice if you could recommend something around 50-60eur range, but it's not too bad if I need to spend all 70eur.

from that page, that list, i would buy one of these 3

https://bm.lv/lv/corsair-cx550m-semi-modular-atx-power-supply-550w-cp-9020102-eu

https://bm.lv/lv/thermaltake-smart-se-530w-modular-sps-530mpcbeu

https://bm.lv/lv/be-quiet-pure-power-9-600w-80-plus-silver-bn264

i have a corsair and is working great, very silent, i have a thermaltake but is not as silent as corsair, but works well with the heavy load it got for the last 3 years

i would like to have that be quiet, unless someone has something against the brand

in fact everyone has something against every brand this days

if you can get a evga 500w that one is good too

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html Just found out about this list and my current PSU is in tear 4, no wonder it's s**t. I'll just pick some 500W from t2 list that fits my budget.

from that list my cx corsair psu is tier 4

still, i recomend it, i wouldn't do it if i had doubts of the quality

in that spirit, you shouldn't buy a psu under 150 dollars/euros, well, pc masterace over for everyone!

lets go back to the ps4! :sarcastic:

Well, XFX Pro series 550w PSU costs like 70eur and apparently is t1 so I'm probably going with that one.
