I had to purchase a new Motherboard as well as a new processor.
I went with the Asus z97 and Intel I5 4690.
Since the Reinstall of windows, I have had nothing but problems with my Sounds cutting in and out.
From games to watching shows/Movies (steaming and VLC player)
I have 2 monitors connected to my Computer Via HDMI and DVI cord. I know the cords and my reciever are not the issue here.

Every time i change/Open/Close/Click something, My sound cuts out. Anywhere from 10 seconds to 5 min or longer.

I have Both The Realtek Drivers and the HIgh Definiton drivers installed as sometimes i like to use my headphones. Disabling or uninstalling them does nothing and im starting to get REALLY Frustrated with this.

Both/All Drivers are up to date.

You should only have Realtek High Definition Audio Drivers loaded. It's possible your current Audio Driver version is incompatible with your current Motherboard.

Go into Control Panel > Sounds and ensure only those drivers are set to Enabled in the Right-Click menu. This will rule out Driver conflict.

If that doesn't work you could consider deleting your current Sound Drivers and proceeding to ASUS' website to locate the latest version, or installing your Motherboard's Sound Drivers from the Motherboard's Support CD.

The Asus Website gave me Both the RealTek Drivers and The HD Audio Device. Thus having them both installed.
I've attached screen shots of my Device manager as well as my Sound Output options.

It it helps the situation, my Computer is attached to a HDMI Reciver, then to a TV (Monitor) I did not have this issue with this set up before, until i installed the new Motherboard and Processor.

Try Disabling them under Sound Devices since, from what I can tell, you aren't using them for Sound Output.

It's possible multiple Sound Devices are causing a conflict. You should only have one Enabled.
