hello folks,

I want the best possible audio for my gaming PC for the least money.
I already have the PC360 headset and I'm not going to change this, because I've been very happy with it. First I got a Siberia V2, but my ears were to big for that headset. I got headaches and al that, so I got this headset.
Now, my plan was to buy the Asus Xonar Essence STX soundcard and the Mixamp form Astro. But that is very expensive. And the Mixamp isn't available at this time. So, can I better buy a this soundcard or wait for the Mixamp to become available again, so I can buy the Mixamp?
So the real question is: Mixamp vs. Xonar Essence STX, I can get them, for almost the same price, they are both compatible with my PC and I also got space left on my motherboard to plug the soundcard in. Currently I'm using the ALC 1150 chip form Realtek to render my sound.

Thanks in advance

OR get the Creative Z series, they have better drivers and their simulated surround sound is better. They work closer with game designers and etc to make sure their sound cues are top notch. And they have been in the business of sound for a long time.
