Question Sound distortion

MY games run perfectly smooth and all the audio coming to my headset is super clear but for some reason my Snowball micropone (that works on other computers fine) sound really muffled, distorted, and trash. What do you think the issue is?

You could try and remove the device from Device Manager and then reboot the system. Connect the Mic to the system after you get into GUI. Are you on the latest BIOS update for your system and are you on the latest drivers for your chipset/USB?
