Sound Drivers Missing?

Ok, so I for some reason Steam wasn't picking up my microphone, so I restarted my computer. And when I started it up, it says no Audio output device is installed. Usually at the bottom right hand corner when I bring up the mixer it says VIA High Definition Audio, and when I go to control panel, Hardware and Sound, manage audio devices, nothing is there. Can somebody please help me? And can you give me a link to the drivers? And also whenever i click on the speaker Icon it says problem detected with Nvidia high definition audio.

what you see under the speaker in control panel for the via ,and check the nvidia audio part on the gpu missing driver .

open contol panel and look under the little speaker and tell me if there is a green hook on the page aand where it link to also check undrr system periphral if there is any ? mark under sound device or the nvidia one ..

Ok, so I go to control panel, Hardware and Sound, I click on the speaker, and a window opens with four tabs. Playback, recording, sounds, and communication. Under playback and recording it says no audio devices are installed.

this means you via panel is not active and need to be install with the driver name and model of that via chipset .

could you read the motherboard name in the case and do you see in control panel a via or realtek as audio sound .

It is working now. I haven't had any issues since. And I have and AMD 760G.

in the control panel under system you should have all detail so take note of them there will be usefull the next time you have a issue .
