good day!
i bought a brand new sandisk ssd plus 120 gb just yesterday, and when i gently shake it, it makes a sound that is like something is loosen inside as if something is not properly tighten inside. is this normal to hear such sounds in a new ssd? but it works fine no problem with its performance, the only problem is it makes a sound like something is not tightly placed inside the SSD.is the sound i am hearing normal with new ssd, i never owned an ssd before?please help so that i can have this replaced.

Solution
You shouldn't hear any sounds from a SSD because It has no moving parts. but I have 2 SSDs that do that. I stepped on one them, the other I dropped. some piece of plastic most likely came off and rattling around. Not a big deal. Could it become a problem in a future? Sure depending whats inside it. Very unlikely though and not worth the cost of RMA.

but to make sure that there is no problem ill partition it first then check it in sentinel.or is there any good application that predicts the actual health of ssd because i heard that sentinel is no good in predicting ssd health.....coz if i have to return it its no problem coz the store is just a 5 minutes drive from my place
