Hi,
I do not know if this is the right category so please move this thread if necessary.
I have been having sound issues since I replugged my headphone jack. Windows then automatically reinstalls Realtek. Since then I have been running into issues where I cannot hear the vocals/voices in songs or films.
I checked the 'Speaker Properties' and I see 2 'L & R 3.5mm' jacks but I only have 1 set on the front of the desktop. Not sure what to do there.
I can fix the issue (temporarily) by adjusting the sound Balance levels either L or R to 0 which brings back the vocals. However, this does not solve the issue entirely when I test it at http://www.audiocheck.net/audiotests_stereo.php
The center channel becomes very soft to hear - when both L & R levels are the same
The right channel is inaudible - when R is set to 0, but I can hear left and center channel
Vice versa for left channel
I have tried uninstall, reinstall, restarting and just using 'High Definition Audio Device'. I also testing with another earphone with the same issue persisting.
Please help!
